Raves from the Ladies

- This was one of the most exciting experiences of my life!  I have always wanted to have boudoir pictures taken and I am in my 50′s and decided it was now or never.  So I decided to have pictures done for my husband for Christmas and it was the best decision ever.  Charlotte is the best, if you want to do this type of photography than Charlotte is the one to do it.  I could not believe how beautiful these pictures turned out, I never thought of myself as anything but average, but you will never feel that way again after Char gets done with you, I have a whole new feeling about myself that is hard to explain, but it is a great feeling.  My Husband absolutely loved the pictures, I think he looks at them everyday and tells me how beautiful I am.  Do not let your age make a difference in your decision, no matter if you are older like me or younger it does not matter, you will look beautiful when Char is done with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! – Claudia

- I am very glad I decided to do the Diva Queen session with Charlotte because not only did it give me the opportunity to have more looks but I also got to get comfortable with you and it was great to get to know you a little better than I would have. I felt like you really had a grasp of what I was looking for and you knew exactly what to say to help me make sure I got the shots I wanted. Tony absolutely loved his wedding present but it really turned out to be more than that to me. I think I learned a little bit about myself and I am more confident to this day because I did something I never thought I could do! – April

-Charlotte is a phenomenal photographer and her talent is unrivaled by any other boudoir photographers whose work I saw while choosing. As incredible as she is as an artist, nearly as wonderful is her ability to make you feel instantly comfortable in her presence. – You don’t have to “know how to look sexy for the camera.” All you have to know how to do is relax and be yourself. I was amazed when I saw my photos for the first time, and even more amazed when I remembered that during many of sexiest ones, I was just being myself.- You’ll still look like yourself in the photos. I know my photos were retouched, but nothing about me looked fake. Essentially, it was great to realize that this is how my husband sees me, and how I should start seeing myself. This is me, and at the end of the day, I felt Charlotte was the one who gave me something – though I expected my photos to just show my skin, I saw how much confidence, beauty, and sex appeal I, myself, have every single day. -Having a boudoir photo session was one of the coolest, most sensual things I have ever done! I’ll admit I was extremely nervous at first, but Charlotte made me feel so comfortable. She listened to my ideas, shot some photographs that she knew would look amazing, and the end product was a huge success! The best part was that I didn’t have to be a size 0 to look smokin’ hot! She shot me from all of the right angles and when the pictures came back, I hardly recognized myself! I kept the session a secret from my husband until it was time to exchange gifts on our wedding day. I sent the pictures over to him five minutes before I walked down the aisle. He was completely floored. This is hands down the best gift you can give to your future husband-and to yourself. MOST importantly, I felt like a beauty-queen-superstar-sexpot-hot-mama-diva!  - Staci

- I am a military wife and have been married for 10 years and have 4 children.  During my husband’s second deployment, we were once again going to miss another year of special dates, including our 10 year anniversary.  I decided to make a special album for him to look at while he was away to remind him of his wife waiting at home for him.  I can say that after having 4 children, I was nervous to bare all in front of the camera, even if it was only for my husband in the end.  I searched online for boudoir photography in the area and I found Charlotte’s website and was very impressed with her artistic style.  I then booked a session with her and took another military friend with me who also had pics taken for her deployed husband as well.  When we got to Charlotte’s studio, I was immediately impressed with the colors and furniture that she had to work with.  Charlotte helped me to pick the right outfits and we got started.  It didn’t take me long to become comfortable with her.  This was my first visit with her and I felt as though we have been friends for years.  She was so nice, encouraging, and comfortable to work with.  In the end, I was amazed at my pictures that she took!  I can tell you that my husband was so excited to receive his little black album and said it helped him through the end of his deployment to look at me, not as the mother of his children, but his beautiful bride, as he says  I think every wife would benefit from having boudoir pictures taken of themselves as it helps to feel confident, especially if you are a mother, but even more importantly, it gives your husband something to cherish and enjoy, especially if you are like us and live apart due to the military.  If you are considering having boudoir pictures taken, I highly recommend Charlotte!  My husband has already asked me if I plan to make him another album! – Dena C

- I wanted to do a session as wedding gift for my soon-to-be husband. I was a bit hesitant at first, but the minute I talked to Charlotte on the phone, I became very excited by talking about fun ideas and looked forward to the shoot. The day of the shoot, I felt immediately at ease with Charlotte, she made me feel like a beautiful movie star. It is one of the greatest experiences I have ever had, not only did it boost confidence in myself, but also my now husband absolutely loved it & couldn’t believe how beautiful I looked! – Lori Y

- I did a boudoir session  because I wanted to give my fiance a special birthday present. As you can imagine I was a bit nervous. Char put me right at ease. I didn’t need to drink the bottle of chardonnay I brought with me just in case. I even decided to do the “American Beauty” pose with strategically placed rose petals. - I stumbled across the Trystan Photography website one day, and I clicked on Charlotte’s Boudoir site. I was quickly intrigued by the concept, and thought it would be a great gift idea for my boyfriend. I began to research boudoir photographers in the area, at first to see who I would choose as my photographer, and later to get some ideas for outfits, props, etc. I couldn’t find any pictures on any other website that I liked as well as Charlotte’s. I could see the artistry and beauty that she captured in her pictures, and the classy way which her subject was portrayed. She even has a blog with boudoir pictures of herself on her website to make nervous women (like myself, I must admit!) feel more at ease about signing up for a boudoir session! Charlotte quickly contacted me after I sent her an email expressing interest in booking a session. I didn’t have too many ideas at the time of talking to Charlotte, but she helped me throw ideas around for props, outfits, just by asking me my interests, my boyfriends interests, and what we each do for a living. After I got off the phone with her, I immediately knew what kind of outfits and props that I wanted to use and I didn’t know how I hadn’t thought of the ideas myself. On the day of my session, I arrived at the studio with a suitcase in tow full of goodies. I placed my outfits out to show Charlotte what I had come up with. She quickly came up with a game plan, and I had a mimosa to loosen up while looking at photo albums :) . Once the session started, Charlotte guided me through poses, and what to do during the session. She was so positive and motivational throughout the session, that it makes you feel very comfortable and confident. After all, she has been in your shoes before! You can also see her passion for photography by how honestly excited she is by the images she is capturing. Her excitement is contagious during the session, and you can’t help but feel amazing and excited about the session! I can’t tell you how unprepared I was for how FABULOUS my pictures were going to turn out. When I left the studio, I felt great about my session…but after I saw my photos for the first time, I was blown away!  I looked at my pictures, and immediately called all my girlfriends to have them look and help me choose what photos to choose for my album because I knew how hard of a decision it was going to be to pick 10 pictures out of this fabulous gallery! Needless to say, I couldn’t choose only 10, and had to upgrade my album I had such a great experience with Charlotte during this entire process, that I am excited to be able to use her talent in photography in the future If you book a Boudoir session with Charlotte, you will NOT be disappointed! - Robyn W.

- Charlotte, I can not thank you enough for helping me give this perfect gift to my husband for our 1st anniversary. My husband was thrilled to recieve such a personal gift that he can hold onto for the rest of our lives together. I couldn’t be happier that I went through with having these photos taken. It was a little out of my comfort zone, but I knew I would be disappointed in myself if I didn’t go through with it. - Thanks, so much for the session. I loved the experience. I feel that my confidence grew after seeing the photos of me. It helped me get motivated in working out and eating healthier. At the beginning of the session I was a little nervous, but you made it comfortable and fun. It helped having my friend do the session too. We went shopping before and picked out cute bras and panties, which made it easy to take photos in, since they were what I felt good in. Thanks so much. The angle of the pictures are amazing. - I am as camera shy as they get and so I wasn’t sure if I could really go through with the boudoir session.  But, Charlotte made me feel so comfortable .  Turns out, I really enjoyed the session.  The pictures turned out amazing.  I loved them, but more importantly my new husband is crazy about his “little black book.”  It is something we will both treasure forever!  Thank you, thank you! – Jenn

- I decided to have boudoir photos done as a surprise 10 year anniversary gift to my husband. I booked with Charlotte and knew that once I did I wouldn’t back out, because naturally I was super nervous when I started considering the idea. I knew Charlotte’s work, and know that her eye for photography is unrivaled, so I had a feeling, that she of all people could help in making me look good! Now, having done the photos, I can truly say that it was one of the best things that I have ever done for myself. The incentive to do the photos was of course my husband and our anniversary, and believe me when I say that there won’t be a better gift that you could give to your husband, honestly; however, what the photo shoot did for me was actually better than the actual gift for my husband!I had so much fun with Charlotte;she does such an amazing job making you feel comfortable during the entire shoot, that I was able to get caught up in the photo shoot for what it was, and get to be, and feel sexy, all while she is capturing the most amazing shots! Charlotte gets “those” shots too, she is  amazing at what she does, a true artist!
I could not believe when I saw the actual photos from the shoot. I said earlier, that Charlotte is amazing, so I can’t say I was suprised, but the photos honestly blew me away! What a great feeling to look at “hot” photos and see me, a mom of 3, who just happens to wear tshirts and sweats 90% of the time! This is a gift to me that I can look back on in 1 year, 20 years 30 years and say yes, I am sexy in my own way!
If you are considering a photo shoot, don’t consider anymore, call Charlotte and get it set up,it will honestly be one of the best gifts that you can give to yourself  and also to your husband. You can be sure that  I will be doing another shoot at some point as well. – Alana

-I am so thrilled that I decided to have Charlotte take my boudoir pictures for my 40th birthday!  The whole session came about as a kind of a fluke (I won a silent auction at my son’s school, and assumed it was just a “regular” photographic shoot).  When I looked online, and saw what boudoir photos were, and more specifically, Charlotte’s work, I decided to go for it!  Charlotte made me feel very comfortable and relaxed from the word go, and she did a great job of making me look sexier than I knew possible!  Turning forty never felt so good- thanks, Charlotte – I had a fabulous time!!!! - Amy
